Celtic Solstice Mystery Quilt Part 2 – Chevrons!

Part two of the Quiltville mystery quilt came out last Friday, and it is chevron blocks!

This week we are using neutrals, greens and yellows to make the blocks.

Here’s a picture of the handy dandy little box my man picked up for me last week from his tool store, and these pieces parts for the chevron blocks fit inside of it just perfectly!

I have finished 50 of the 100 blocks needed for this part of the mystery quilt.  Can’t wait to see how they are to be used in the quilt……borders maybe?

If you want to see what others are doing for this mystery, head on over to Bonnie Hunter’s Quiltville blog and peruse the link ups and also hop on over to Patchwork Times.  There’s definitely some beautiful stuff showing up!

You have some wonderful scrappy fabrics in your mystery. This is one I’m going to watch closely. I love the real scrappy mysteries. Your box looks like a winner too. What is the original use of it for?

Your fabrics look very cheerful. I like your white instead of neutral.
