Celtic Solstice – On the Design Wall

This week I have spent a little time putting the little 3.5″ pieces into blocks.  I have completed ten blocks, and I decided to piece 9 of the blocks together.

My improv spirit is already working on a way to change these up a bit.  Perhaps continuing to piece 9 blocks together, do some colorful solid sashing around them, maybe putting them on point……My hubby thinks I should just finish the quilt as instructed.  Maybe he is right.

I really need to take some pictures of this project with the digital camera.  These iPhone photos I have been taking aren’t the greatest to show off the bright colors I am using.

See what everyone else is doing with this mystery on the Quiltville blog.

I love your colors! Especially the white with black fabrics. Nicely done!

The black and white just jumps out — great combination!

Wow! Just beautiful! Your colors really pop!

Your upper center 4 square blocks should be turned a quarter. All orange squares go up to the left, and green ones up to the right.

Thanks Janet, actually the entire block was turned wrong and I ripped it out and turned it the right way earlier last week after posting the photo. :)
